Defining New Leadership

One blog I love to read has nothing to do with business, it's called Education Innovation-A different Angle of Approach to Education. Recently they posted a blog about lateral leadership with a comparison chart between Lateral Leaders and Conventional Leaders along with some great insights on important leadership traits. I think it's really interesting to note the difference between the leadership styles and note how so many of the traits under a conventional leader are related to the military model of leadership which favors Traditionalist and Boomers and compare it to the traits of lateral leaders and the traits and strengths of Gen X and Gen Y. Is it possible a person is more likely to fall into one of these two categories based on their generation?

Below is the chart from the blog but to reap all the great insights check out their post on Lateral Leadership.
